Adana is a major city in southern Turkey and an important agricultural and commercial center. Located on the Seyhan River in south-central Anatolia, it is the administrative seat of Adana Province. The city lies in the heart of Çukurova, a geographic, economic, and cultural region that includes the provinces of Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, and Hatay.
