Salar de Uyuni - Potosí - Sucre 6 Días / 5 Noches

Description

Salar de Uyuni is a stunning salt flat located in southwest Bolivia, near the city of Uyuni. It is the world's largest salt flat, covering an area of over 10,000 square kilometers (4,000 square miles). Salar de Uyuni is a major tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world.

Potosi is a city in southern Bolivia, situated at the base of the Cerro Rico mountain. It is known for its rich silver mines, which were among the world's most productive during the Spanish colonial period. Potosi was once one of the wealthiest cities in the Americas due to the abundance of silver. Today, it retains its colonial charm and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia, located in the southern part of the country. It is known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and is often referred to as the "White City" due to the predominant color of its buildings. Sucre is also home to several universities and is considered an important cultural and educational center in Bolivia.

Important information:

Winter season (June, July, August): Water may freeze in the pipes and could take several minutes to warm up.

Rainy season (November to April) Roads may be in bad condition. Salar de Uyuni is flooded. Access to Tahua or Incahuasi could be difficult or impossible.

Program may have to be changed due to these reasons.

Since the roads from the Salar de Uyuni to Lagunas de Colores are not asphalted, we consider the trip in four-wheel drive cars, each carrying a maximum of 4 passengers.

In order to avoid the costs rising, the guide and / or TC will ride in the back of one of the cars if necessary. However, for these trips, for every 4 passengers that make up a service, we recommend renting an additional car for more comfort (ask your sales executive).

The museums in Sucre and Potosi are closed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons as well as Mondays and holidays all day.
